Memorial Day
Happy Memorial Day 2011
We spent the afternoon at home and went to LUcilles for dinner. It was a very relaxing day.

Andy Law brought me flowers yesterday when they came over and Addison loves to look at them while in her bath. All she needs is some candles and she is set :)

Kung Fu Panda 2
We had a date with Mikaela this morning, just mommy, daddy and Mikaela. We took her to go see Kung Fu Panda 2. She was very happy, though during the movie she got a little scared and asked to go home and even cried a little when Po was sad. She is so sensative like her mommy.

Card for Aunt Ryann
Mikaela has been asking to make Aunt Ryann a card since show rehearsal. So this afternoon since she was going to see Aunt Ryann she made her card. If you look close you can see she spelled her name. We have been working on it a lot lately. She was able to write all the letters except the "e"

Chinese Food and New Shower
Mikaela LOVES Panda Express and frequently asks to eat it for dinner. Usually Matt takes her on Monday night while I am at work, but today before I took her to daycare I asked her what she wanted for dinner and she responded, "Chinese:." So off to Panda Express we went for dinner? Once we got home Mikaela asked to take a shower in our new shower.
I have not written anything about this in the blog because I have not had any good pictures of the process to post.
Here is the bathroom story:
While I was in Georgia with the girls Matt decided he was going to surprise me and redo our bathroom, YEAH!!!! Well it turned out to be a big headache and my poor hubby has been stressed about it now for weeks. He put in new tile flooring that is dark brown and looks like hard wood, then he proceeded to rip out the tile in the shower. Well this was such a BIG task, it took him 2 days to remove it. Gotta love older houses. His plan was to have it finished when we got home and to his disappointment he was not able to finish it. We had a tile guy come in and do the shower and it is BEAUTIFUL. We, or I should say he is still working daily to fix the bathroom. There was some wall damage when hammering the shower out. I couldn't love him more for trying to surprise me with this enormous project. I can't wait to see the final project.

Bath in the Sink
We moved Addison from her tube to the sink today. She seemed to be good with it, definitely more space, but she needs some support while sitting. She is still wobbly.

Puppies
Today we went over to Pat's house to play with their 6 week old puppies. They are Labrador Retrievers and they had 8 total puppies. We went out to eat that night at a sandwich place called Portillo's , it was Addison first night out to dinner, we took her food and feed her there. It was a nice family night.
Mikaela had picked me flowers at Pat's house. I had set them on the center consol of the car and on the way home I glanced down and there was this little catapiller. When we got home Mikaela let him go. She calls it a "capitiller"
