Happy New Year

2008
Tonight I rang in 2008 with mommy, daddy, Aunt Rachael, Uncle Andy and Lucas. Ok, so I did not actually stay awake for it but I got to wear funny hats and play with noise makers.

Rice Cereal

When I went to the doctor almost 2 weeks ago the doctor told mommy that she could start giving me rice cereal. Well with Christmas happening, mommy out for Aunt Ryann's birthday, visits to Grandma ChiChi, and daddy being out of town for a night they finally got around to giving me some rice cereal. They got me special bowls and I used the spoons that Santa left me in my stocking. I really liked the cereal, I was very interested in eating with a spoon. I got very messy! Mommy and daddy also video taped our fun feeding time.

My Walker

For Christmas I got a walker from Grammy Paula, Grandpa Robert, and Auntie Brittany. It is so pretty and pink, I love it. It plays music and even has a steering wheel with a key. This is me in it for the first time.My feet don't touch the floor yet :)

Visitors

Today I had lots of visitors. Friends of mommy's from when she was in high school came over with their kids. Caroline, Jon, Aubrey, and Molly as well as Tama, Jeffrey and Hudson. The mommy's talked and caught up and the kids played.

Christmas Slideshow

My First Christmas

I had a wonderful First Christmas. Mommy, Daddy and I opened our gifts at home and then went over to Grandma and Grandpas house to open gifts with the family but not before getting online to see Nonna and Papa Lee. Aunt Julie, Uncle Andrew, Cousins Rosslyn and Stewart and Aunt Wendy were all there. It was a great morning. We came home and went back later for dinner and pictures in front of the tree. Grandpa got Rosslyn a race track for cars and they set it up in front of the tree. Everyone played with that all night and Stewart's ChoCho Train.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve for the Wickham Family was held at our house again this year. We all got together for some yummy Italian food and company. It was nice to see my aunts, uncles and cousins.

The Stevens Family I was not happy in my pretty Christmas dress and the moment mommy took it off of me I was much happier. So we took a family picture with naked me.

Daddy's Work Party

This morning I had to get up early to go to Daddy's work party. I got to meet all the nice people that daddy work with at the LA DWP.

My Christmas Tree

This is the Christmas Tree that mommy put in my room. It use to be her tree but she is now making it my tree. It has a lot of her ballerina ornaments from when she was growing up and did ornament exchanges with her dance friends. Her favorite ones are the Department 56 ornaments.

This is one of the new ones for this year. It is Dancer the Reindeer.
This the Christmas bell tree that Aunt Sylvia gave me. It is sitting on my dresser. She told me that nannie (my Papa Lee's mommy) always had a tree in every one of the kid's rooms, so she bought one for my room for me.

4 Month doctors Visit

I went to see the Dr today to get my 4 month shots, I was such a happy girl until those nasty shots came. I am now weighing in at 16 pounds 1 ounce (95%) and I am 25.5 inches long (95%). I am a growing girl and very healthy the doctor said. I get to start eating rice cereal too. I think this might be a fun thing since I watch mommy and daddy eat all the time now. The shots hurt more this time around but once again I was asleep shortly after.

This is the Nativity Set Nonna and Papa Lee sent me. It is very cute and I look forward to playing with it.This is me and teddy hanging out in mommy's new sleigh she bought.

Our Christmas Tree

Mommy told me this afternoon we were going to decorate our Christmas tree when daddy got home. This is how happy I was!

Yaaaa FINALLY a tree!

It was so much fun hanging ornaments on the tree and looking at all the pretty lights. They even let me put the star on the top. This is the new ornament mommy bought me this year, we hung it in the front.
It is a tiring job hanging all those ornaments, I took a cat nap in the peanut shell while mommy and daddy kept decorating.

Baby It's Cold Outside

Since it was raining outside mommy thought it would be a good idea to bundle me up. Well lets just say I was a little too bundled.
