Family Thanksgiving
We celebrated Thanksgiving today with Matt's family. The Lyell's got back from a family vacation on Friday and we are usually coming home from Georgia as well so for the past few years we have celebrated on Saturday. This year we had it at our house. Bill and Jill came over early to start the turkey and brough us coffee. We had the pumpkin spice roll I had made for breakfast and watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. Around 1pm the Lyell's came over and we ate around 2pm. It was a nice day full of yummy food. Thanks Jill for doing all the cooking.

Baking with Grandma
Today Mikaela helped Grandma make applie pies. She had such a good time baking. We can't wait to taste the pies on Saturday when we celebrate Thanksgiving with the family.
Decortaing Mikaela's Tree
This morning Mikaela and I decorated her tree for her room. This use to be my tree when I was growing up and collected ornaments throughout the years. It is a ballerina tree. She had a blast hanging the ornaments.

Thanksgiving 2010
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
We went to dinner at Famous Dave's in Long Beach for Thanksgiving night. We will be celebrating on Saturday with the family. Grandma went with us to dinner because Grandpa was in Phurump working on the new house. It was a fun night. Mikaela enjoyed making the turkey that Nonna sent her and Addison slept the whole time.
Mikaela told us at breakfast that she was thankful for: baby, mommy and daddy. And then she went on to name the rest of her family. We are thankful also for our family, especially Mikaela and Addison.
El Capitan to see Tangled
We surprised Mikaela this morning and took her to go see Tangled at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. I absolutely loved the movie and thought it was one of Disney's best in a long time. Mikaela was come and go. She was very excited when we got there and got our gold coins, popcorn, juice, and found our seats. About half way through the movie she asked to go home. Then after the movie she didn't wish to leave. You ask her if she liked the movie and she says yes. I am sure when the DVD comes out we will not be able to get her to stop watching it. Addison slept through the whole movie. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving morning together.

Rylie Turns 3
We went over to the Patterson's house tonight to celebrate Rylie's 3rd birthday. Mikaela had lots of fun playing with her friends, Addison got lots of love from Rylie's Honey, and Matt and I enjoyed visiting with friends.
Happy Birthday Rylie and Andy!
That's my little pumpkin
Addison Get A Sponge Bath
One more sponge bath before a real bath. Her umbilical cord did fall off but it was still did not look completely healed so Matt and I thougth one more sponge bath would be a good idea.
First: get her undressed
Then into the tub
A quick bath
And wrapped in the towel
Snuggle time with her daddy
