Rain, Mailing Cards, Home Sweet Home

We finally have cold, rainy weather and it has been a nice change. It also meant I got to use my cow umbrella, rain boots and rain coat (after this wear, we will have to hand them down) Mommy and me went to mail our Christmas cards, to the bank, and grocery shopping today.

I'm a little too short
After daddy made chili and corn muffins for dinner he built a fire in the fireplace. Mommy was so happy.

Santa Claus 2009

Tonight we went to Knott's Berry Farm to go see Santa Claus. On the way there mommy was asking me what I was going to ask Santa to bring me for Christmas. I told her I wanted a "mermaid". I also proceeded to tell mommy I wanted "Snow White". When we finally arrived to see Santa I was a little apprehensive. As you can see from the pictures, I was not happy to sit on the big jolly mans lap. Once mommy rescued me, I did though tell him I wanted a mermaid. We had a nice night looking at all the crafts and we ate at the Chicken House. Mommy told me this is where Nonna and Papa use to take her all the time to come see Santa, it became a tradition for them.

At dinner our waiter gave me a Snoopy ice cream bar, it was delicious.

Mommy got all the Christmas cards done yesterday while I was napping, but I wanted to added a little bit to some of them.

Silly Billy

One of my new words to say is "Silly Billy" when something is funny. This was me being a "Silly Billy"

Christmas Tree

Daddy did not come home till Saturday from working out of town all week and this made mommy afraid we might not have a tree up for the Holiday Party. But, daddy came to the rescue and when he got home there was a Christmas tree on top of the car. YEAH for my daddy. We put it up and decorated in no time and once again Daddy let me hang the star on the top of the tree.

Mommy told me to "strike a pose" This is my pose

Time to Come Home

Today was traveling day for mommy, daddy and me. We went to the Waffle House for breakfast came back to Nonna and Papa's and made sure our bags were packed, then it was off to the airport. I was sad to leave, I had a great time with my Nonna and Papa. I did very well on the plane ride home. I ate some lunch, slept, watched Shrek, watched some Nickelodeon, and sat in my seat the whole time. It is good to be home but I was sad to leave Georgia. Checking out our plane
