Mikaela's 4th Birthday

Today our first born turned 4 years old. Time just goes so fast and watching them grow and learn is amazing. 

She started the morning by waking up to 50 balloons on the trailer floor.  She was thrilled.  She changed her count down sign to say Happy Birthday.  Then we had birthday donuts.  We then hung out and went down to the beach for a little sand and ocean play.  She asked me to take a nap and then once she woke up most everyone had shown up or was arriving to celebrate.  The kids played games in the grass while we BBQed, we did cake and presents, watced a movie outside and set off some lanterns.  Mikaela said it was a GREAT birthday she loved it. 

Thanks to our very dear friends and family for making the drive (in traffic) to come celebrate with us.  It meant a lot to Mikaela and Matt and I as well.

Doheney State Beach Day 1

We headed to Dana Point this weekend to camp at Doheney State Beach.  We camped with the Weinstein's, Johnston's, Clark's and Grandma and Grandpa.  It was lots of fun and what made it very nice was how close it was.

Birthday Party Shopping

We had to go to Smart and Final before swim lessons to pick up food for Mikaela's birthday party this weekend.  Shopping with the girls :)

Addison 9 Months Old

Addison is 9 months today.  She weighs 22lbs 2oz.  She loves to eat and has the chubbiest legs you have ever seen.  She is a happy baby. 

Birthday Preparation and Name Spelling

We started getting things ready for Mikaela's birthday next Saturday.  We will be camping and want to have everything ready to go.  She helped this year and was very excited about it all. 

She has also been working on spelling her name for a while now and for the past week she has been NAILING it.  She got a set of miniture golf set for accomplishing this task.  Check out video below.

Stewat's Birthday

We celebrated Stewart's 7th birthday today.  He had a water slide and a pinata for his birthday.  It was lots of fun.  Mikaela LOVED the water slide.

Mothers Beach- August 5

We went back to Mothers Beach again (3rd week in a row)  The girls had lots of fun.  Addison really wants to play and feel the sand and Mikaela loves the water and tries to build sand castles.  Grandma ChiChi came this afternoon and brought donuts.  The kids were very happy.  We thought it was funny becuase they really only ate the top with the sugar stuff and sprinkles.  :)

Happy August- It's Mikaela's Month

She is counting down till her birthday on August 13th when she will be 4 years old.
