More Friends and Family

Today was the first day the my best friend Rachael got to hold Addison.  Even though she was able to be in the delivery room with me she did not get to hold Addison.  She was so happy to finally be able to hold her neice.  My friend Kelley also came over with her daughter Anika to meet Addison and visit.  It had been such a long time since we had seen each other it was great to catch up.  Andy met Addison at Rylie's 3rd birthday party.  It was also his birthday and he finally got to hold Addison too.  Along with my other dear friend Jill.  She had visited us in the hospital because she works as an OR nurse at Downy Regional.  But both times she came to see us Addison was either eatting or sleeping.

Our Anniversary

Today is Matt and I's 5th anniversary.  We started the morning by going to Pop's Cafe with the Barela's.  We then spent the afternoon at home playing with Mikaela, watching Addison sleep, and enjoying each other.  For dinner we met the Law's at East Side Mario's for Happy Hour Patio Time.  We love to sit in the patio for 2 reasons; you get the happy hour prices and the kids can be louder out there than inside.  Works our great for us all.  This was the first time Addison met her Uncle Andy, Luc and Gwen.  It was a great night.

Mikaela had a soccer game today, but Addison and I stayed home.  I was told she played the whole game, played really well and kicked the ball.  I am so proud of my big girl.  Today Matt and Mikaela went outside to play hop scotch.  It was so much fun watching the 2 of them play together.  Since we have had kids that is my number one thing to do, watch Matt with Mikaela and now also with Addison.

Addison is 1 Week

Addison is 1 week old today and I had a mini-photoshoot with her at home.  I love taking pictures and learning new things about my camera and photoshop.

Bedding for Addison

Today we all went out to go pick out Addison's bedding for her crib.  We went to The Baby Guy's warehouse in Santa Fe Springs.  He sales his stuff at the OC Swap Meet.  I instantly feel in love wit the Hawaiian print bedding.  It was so unique, bright, and fun.  Mikaela liked it too.  I think one of the fun parts about going to his warehouse was I got to watch them make Addison's sheet.  The lady was so fast, it was amazing.  I was also very fortunite to walk out with a bedding.  Usually it takes about 3-5 weeks to have it custom made.  So happy!!

Mikaela Helps with Addisons Bath

Addison got sent flowers when she came home.  I also put have been setting up the cards that she has recieved as well.  Matt, Addison and I went to the Downey Landing today for lunch after taking Bodie to the groomer.  Later that night Mikaela helped us give Addison her first sponge bath.  She loved scrubbing her feet.
