Christmas Eve 2009

We had a busy Christmas Eve. (7am-10pm)

We started the morning early by going to daddy's work for the DWP surveyors party. There was lots of food, kids and fun games. Once we left there we went over to Grammy and Pa's house. Pa and Grammy got me a Princess Quad to ride in there big yard when I come over. WAHOO!! I also got Shrek the Halls (Shrek is my favorite at the moment), shoes, a microphone and a pony that walks from Auntie.

We left for Riverside at 2pm thinking that we would beat the traffic, that didn't happen. My cousins road with me and we watched Shrek the Halls and Monsters Inc. We had a late lunch at Anchos where they gave Rosslyn, Stewart and I tortilla dough to play with before lunch. We then went to the Mission Inn to see all the lights and then off to Aunt Barbara's and Uncle Jeff's house. It was a great night. The 13 cousins drew names and I had Cole and Conner had me. He gave me play food and princess shoes.

Once we got home I was ready for bed in my Christmas jammies and hat. Mommy, Daddy and I put milk and cookies out for Santa. Then off to bed I went so Santa could come.

I am all snuggled in bed asleep, not a creature is stirring.

Cooking at Grandma's House

Mommy spent the day with Grandma baking pies and cinnonmon rolls from scratch. Mommy came and got me from Auntie Lorraine's house and we went to back to Grandma's to finish baking. While we were there I find an old costume mommy had brought home from the studio for Rossyln and I asked daddy to put it on me. Guess what, it was a mermaid costume. So I baked in the costume. Making my own dough creation.

Thoroughbred Street Christmas Lights

We once again traveled to Alta Loma to look at the house decorated for Christmas on Thoroughbred Street. Grammy, Pa, Auntie, Grandma and Grandpa went with us this year. We got there just when it was getting dusk, before they shut down the streets, got great parking and walked the 2 blocks to check out all the lights.

Ears Pierced

I have been asking to get my ear pierced for over a month. I am not really sure if I knew the process that had to happen to get my earrings but I kept asking for them every so often. Today when we went to the mall to buy mommy and daddy new sheets because they got a new bed mommy asked me if i wanted to get my ears pierced and I said "yes". She had asked me about a week ago when we went to Brea Mall with the Law's to see Santa and I said the same thing "yes" but then when it was my turn I said "no don't want them". This time I got in the chair with mommy and I was ready to get my ears pierced. We picked out which earrings to get, then the lady cleaned my ears, she used a pen to mark where they were going to pierce them, then BOOM the shock of getting my ears pierced. Yes I cried but it did not last long. Daddy and mommy let me pick out a Princess Ariel Lip Stick and said we would go get a cookie for how brave I was. Mommy says she thinks she was more scared than me, but we were both brave and now I have my ears pierced. Such a BIG girl! (mommy did not have the big camera on her because she was not anticipating this event happening today so all the pictures of getting my ears done were taken with daddy's iPhone)
