Christmas Eve 2010

We started the morning by making Santa some chocolate chip cookies.  We then went over to Grammy and Pa's house so Mikaela could give Auntie her gift and open gifts from them.  Once we got back home Matt and Mikaela set up our train out in the front yard, better late than never.  Then they set up the Polar Express train in the house.  We then headed to Riverside for dinner with the family and then to Ontario for dessert at Aunt Jane's house.  We got home set the cookies out for Santa, tucked the girls in and went to bed.  It was a busy day but a good one.

Matt's Work Christmas Party

We went to Matt's work this morning for their Christmas gathering.  It was great to see everyone and watch all the kids play and open gifts.  Oh yeah and there was so much delicious food.

Tamales

Today Mikaela's cousins came over to play while Jill, Julie and I made tamales.  Mikaela made one and Addison observed and slept.  Mikaela wants to wish her Aunt Ryann a Happy Birthday today.

Wrapping Addison's Christmas Present

We let Mikaela pick out her sisters Christmas present herself and we wrapped it tonight for her.  She was very excited and loved writing her name on the tag.

Mikaela's First Dance Recital

Mikaela performed in her very first dance recital tonight.  She did so wonderful and loved every minute of it.  I was really fearing that she was going to cry.  She danced to the song "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" and her teacher was Ms Rachael.  Addison slept majority of the time backstage.

Miakela loves to help her daddy and while Matt was putting in the new windows in the kitchen, Mikaela was right there with him helping. 



Matching PJ's

Today I put the girls in their matching PJ's and took some pictures of them in fron tof the Christmas tree.  We had so much fun playing and posing.
