Day 2

This was a busy day. We went for a walk, went to Fashion Island, went out to dinner, and sat around the camp fire.

Daddy loves my new monkey pj's

I love to read books. I can even say "book" I make mommy and daddy read to me all the time. My favorite books are lift the flap books by Karen Katz. Where is Baby's Bellybutton is the best one. Daddy is reading me Brown Bear, Brown Bear. I have learned to show everyone where my belly button is too.

It was very overcast today

I was so relaxed I feel asleep on the walk. I took a 2 hour nap in my stroller. Must have been tired huh.

We went to Fashion Island after I woke up from a nap. The 17th annual Project Playhouses was going on there until October 11th. They had 8 different themed playhouses that you could look at. The Anaheim Ducks Hockey Hideaway, Beachside Cabana, and Wahoo's Extreme Sports Shack just to name a few.
I loved looking inside to see how they were decorated. Mommy thought of her friend Gina when we looked inside the Little USC Greek House.
It had 2 flat screen TV's I loved the Beachside Cabana

Also while at Fashion Island I got to play in the pop-jet fountain. Water pops up from the ground. I had so much fun running around with the other kids.




Ok, I know what you are thinking now, ALL this happened in 1 day and I have changed clothes 4 times. Well yes, it did all happen in one day. I was in my pj's in the morning. Went for a walk and got dirty because we are camping in the morning, changed clothes to come to Fashion Island, got wet while at FI, once we got back to camp we decided to come back to Fashion Island for a yummy dinner a PF Changs with the Alvo's. This is my 4th outfit for the day but with good reasoning. (I do change again just to let you know, it got cold down by the beach) :)

Daddy gave me a penny to throw into the fountain. It was lots of fun once I got the hang of it, I wanted to keep putting the money in my mouth.

Once we got back to camp (outfit 5) we roasted marshmallows by the campfire. They were yummy.


Once I went to bed mommy and daddy rode Little Matthew's motorcycle. John works with daddy and joined us for the weekend with his family. It was lots of fun camping with them. Mommy had fun going fast on the motorcycle.
