Conner turns 1!!

We went to Bakersfield today to celebrate Conner's Birthday. He turned 1 on Valentine's Day and his party had to be postponed due to him getting sick. We celebrated today and it was such a wonderful day filled with friend, family, bounce house jumping, cake eating, and present opening. Happy Birthday Conner, we are so glad you are feeling better too.

These are my new shoes mommy got me. I think they are just darling. We left Downey at about 1030 and once we got to Bakersfield we went to In & Out for lunch then headed to Dewars Candy Shop (a must stop while in Bakersfield) for ice cream, milkshakes, and Root Beer Freezes. Grandma, Grandpa, Stewart, mommy, daddy and me all drove together. I love this place, it is decorated with black and white checks and pink polka dots.

Band Trim and Rosslyn's Show

Today I went and got my bangs trimmed. They have been getting in my eyes so much and I usually lift up my head to try and see underneath them, mommy thought she should get them trimmed. We went to Cool Cuts in Huntington Beach. I was a very neat place, I got to sit in a yellow car, I got to watch Barney, and I got to pick out a bow to go in my hair.

This was taken at McDonald's after my first REAL hair trim. So grown up, I know. Tonight we went to see Rossyln in the Rossmore Elementary School Variety Show. Rosslyn along with 4 other girls in 2nd grade did a tap dance to "Fabulous." They were called the Fabulous 5. Grandma, Grandpa, and the three of us went to dinner at Pei Wei then headed to the McGaugh Elementray School for the show. Rosslyn was number 30 out of about 40 so it was a long night for me but I loved seeing my cousin on stage, she smiled so big. Way to go Rosslyn. Stewart and I had fun watching you in the audience.

TOP STUDIO 6TH YEAR IN A ROW

Mommy told me that they got 22 first places, 2 seconds, 3 overall trophies and of course like I mentioned Top Studio for the weekend.

Competition

Saturday was the start of a fun and busy weekend. Mommy had breakfast with the girls (Jamie, Jill, Leslie and Rachael) and I got to stay with Uncle Andy and Luc because daddy had to work. After breakfast mommy and Aunt Rachael headed to the dance competition, I joined them later once Luc and I woke up from our naps. Uncle Andy brought me too mommy and I had so much fun playing with Amanda (one of the little sisters of a company dancer) and dancing in the aisle. Mommy brought my DVD player and I got to watch Elmo too.

Going to the Park and Grocery Store

Daddy was going to be working late this afternoon so mommy decided when I woke up from my nap we would go to the park. This was my first time and I loved it. I really liked to feel the sand. There was a big wheel that I liked to turn, sliding down the slide was also fun. But my favorite part was swinging. It took a little perswasion but once I got in and started swinging I LOVED IT! I really liked to put my head back. Mommy said I loved my swing as a baby so I would like the swings at the park. Once it started to get dark we needed to go to the grocery store to pick up snacks for competition weekend. Mommy thought I would have a good time riding in the truck part of the shopping cart, she was right. I loved turing the steering wheel and beeping the horn.

Bridal Shower Locations

Today mommy and I went and meet Grandma ChiChi in Huntington Beach to look at locations for Aunt Ryann (RyRy is what I say) bridal shower. We went to the Newland House and the Huntington Central Park Equestrian Center. I loved looking at the horses at the Equestrian Center. Both locations were beautiful for a bridal shower. To be honest mommy and Grandma Chi Chi thought it was going to smell like horsey poo poo, STINKY!!

Grammy, Grandpa and Auntie

When daddy works out of town mommy gets help from Grammy, Grandpa and Auntie. They take me the nights mommy has to work at the dance studio. I LOVE YOU ALL and mommy and daddy thank you LOTS!!

Corn on the Cob and a Bath

Today after mommmy picked me up from the Babysitters we got some dinner and came home. I ate ALL of my corn on the cob and loved it. I also had chicken and mashed potatoes. I have been talking a lot more lately and tonight before my bath mommy told me I was stinky, so I kept repeating her. Once I got in the bath I said "Stinky" and plugged my nose. Mommy got a kick out of it.
