Holding My Bottle

I have just recently started holding my own bottle. I did it for the babysitter a week ago and for daddy over the weekend when mommy was sick, but would not do it for mommy. Today I decided to show her what a BIG girl I am becoming, holding my bottle all by myself.

Bubble Machine

Mommy bought me a bubble machine today for my baths. This is the first time I have ever seen bubbles and I thought they were very neat.

Mommy thinks this is a neat picture since you can see my eye through the bubble.

Napping in my crib

While I was taking my nap today mommy said I was in a very different position. I have one hand on the bumper the other over my eyes, and yes he paci is still in my mouth. And I am turned the wrong way. Hey I was comfy! See my glow worm in the corner of my crib, I have slept with him since I came home form the hospital.

Outside

Today we went outside for some fresh air. Mommy thought some pictures outside for once would be nice. I have started to clap. Mommy says it is pretty hard to catch the action camera though.

Sunday Happenings

Today was a relaxing day for us all. I have been eating puffs since Cameron gave me some but I am feeding myself so much better. I am really getting the concept of picking things up with my thumb and forefinger (they call it the pincer grasp). Later in the day I took a nap with mommy. All of a sudden I was playing on the floor and she was laying down next to me, I laid my head down she gave me my paci and I was OUT! (never done that before) Then before going to bed I almost always get a bath, I love bath time, this is the new face I like to make and mommy likes to spike up my hair.

Dinner with Lucas

Tonight Lucas and his mommy and daddy came over to have dinner. Daddy cooked some tri-tip and mommy made the fixin's. We had a nice night just hanging out at the house playing and talking. Us kiddo's just played and played, I like to watch Lucas crawl all over the place. Lucas liked to watch the flying balls.

Auntie Brittany

Today Auntie Brittany hung out with mommy and me. We went to Costco, In and Out and the mall. While we were at the mall we went the The Forest, it is the play yard for kids.

Standing in Crib

I have just recently started to pull myself up in my crib. I am feeling so much better, in fact I had a wonderful day.

8 Months Old

I am 8 months old today. I have 2 teeth, I love to jump in my jumper, I love bath time, and I am staring to scoot backwards on my belly. I have also pulled myself up a few times in my crib. I now weigh 20 pounds 3 ounces.

My Daddy is home

Daddy has been working out of town all week. He is home and I had a wonderful night, ate a good dinner, had a good bath and I slept through the night again, I must be feeling better. I feel asleep sitting in his lap tonight, I missed him very much.

Aunt Wendy

We have not be blogging this week because I have been trying to get over my cold and mommy has not been feeling good either. But today Aunt Wendy was able came to see me for a short visit before she headed back to San Diego. She was in LA to get her Visa for when she goes to Chile to study/work abroad. (this is not the best picture but I was moving and playing so much with Aunt Wendy this was the best mommy got)

Sick

Today I went to the Doctor because I have not been eating well, sleeping well, and just flat out not been feeling well. NO WONDER, I have an ear infection in both ears. YUCK! I am take medicine and I have drops for my ears. Mommy says it has been hard because Daddy is out of town this week, but she is doing just fine I think :) We are both hoping he is home by Thursday.

Daddy's Birthday

Today was MY DADDY'S Birthday. Him and mommy started celebrating last night with Uncle Andy and Aunt Rachael at the Melting Pot in Brea. They said it the fondu was very yummy and filling. I got to stay the night at Grammy Paula's house. This morning we meet for breakfast at Pop's and later that night we went to dinner with Grandma and Grandpa at CPK. I got to use my Hook-On Chair. I had a wonderufl day with my Daddy on his birthday.

Busy Ball Popper

Today I was playing with my toy the Busy Ball Popper (it blows balls into the air) and mommy thought it was funny when I would tip the toy over and let the air blow in my face. :)

First you get one of the colorful balls and drop in on the track
