Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween Everyone! I had such a fun and busy day today. This morning I went to see my cousin Stewart in a costume parade at his preschool. He was dressed as a vampire. Then after my nap and lunch mommy took my to take some Halloween Pictures. I smiled so big and can't wait to share them with all of you. Once we got home from taking pictures I went down for another nap and when I woke up my dada was home. We then went to the Halloween Festival in Cerritos with the Law family. This is where Luc (the skunk) and me (the chicken) entered a costume contest. I got 2nd place out of the 2 and under category. After we left there we went back to the Law's house for dinner and to hand out candy to all the trick or treaters. It was a wonderful Halloween.

Pumpkin Carving

It is a tradition to go to Grandma and Grandpa's house and carve pumpkins. My cousin Rosslyn and Stewart, Uncle Andrew, Grandma, Grandpa, and Mommy all carved ourselves a pumpkin tonight. We had lots of fun and I think my pumpkin is GREAT!

Here are all the pumpkins Grandpa got. Uncle Andrew brought 2 big pumpkins from the LA Zoo too. There are a couple of steps to carving a a pumpkin. 1st- pick out a pumpkin 2nd- clean out the inside. 3rd- Pick out a pattern from one of the books 4th- carve the pumpkin5th put a candle in it THERE YOU GO! Miss My Daddy Already

My Daddy left again this morning to go work out of town. For those of you that don't know, sometimes his job calls from him to go out of town and work. He usually goes and works in Mojave setting points for a wind farm, remember he is a land surveyor.
Tonight I had found a picture that mommy had put up last night of the 3 of us at the pumpkin patch. I grabbed it off the table and started carrying it around. Mommy was asking me "where is mama?, where is dada?, where is Mikaela?" I was able to point out everyone to her. Then she asked "Can you give dada kisses?", I then began kissing the pictures frame. I did this many many times. I miss my daddy and I am looking forward to when he gets home for Halloween. His little chicken will be waiting.
Just one more little note about daddy's job, he got a promotion and both mommy and I are very proud of him. WAY TO GO DADDY!!

This is a picture daddy took of one of the windmills while working in Mohave.

Pumpkin Patch

I had a wonderful Sunday morning at the pumpkin patch in Irvine with all my friends. My family joined, the Law's, The Patterson's, the Kephart's, and Schuk's and the Barela's at the Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch. We road the choo choo train, went through a giant hay maze, took pictures in picture stands, road the pony, and I even got to eat cotton candy. Just look at all the pictures you will see how much fun I had. (even though I was tired)

I have started telling this new thing by saying SHHHHHHHHHHH. I put my finger near my nose and say "SHHHHHHHHH"
I have also started puckering up when I give kisses. I was leaning forward to give Luc a kiss in the train cart in front of me The 3 Little Piggy's
Me, Luc and Rylie I thought the picture stands were so much fun.
My Uncle Charles would be so proud. A John Deer Tractor
Grammy Paula got me some Cotton Candy at the end of the morning. At first I really did not know what to do with it. And then I caught on, once I tasted it I did not want to stop.

It was a wonderful Sunday morning.
I was asleep within 5 minutes of getting in my car seat.

Grandma's Birthday dinner and Meeting Jesse

Happy Birthday Grandma! We celebrated by heading to Duke's in Malibu for dinner. It was also the first time that the family has met Jesse, Aunt Wendy's boyfriend. (they met in Chilie) We had a wonderful view of the ocean and had some yummy food. I got to try some of mommy's Mahi Mahi, no reaction, liked it, like almost everything else. I also got to eat some of Grandma's dessert, Hula Pie, YUMMY! We had a great time. Grandma and Grandpa
