So tired

It was such a busy day today that I took a late afternoon nap and daddy had to wake me up for dinner time. As you can see I did not want to get up. I was sleeping sitting up.

Little Ballerina

I went on Friday, May 23rd and took my 9 month pictures. Mommy thought it would be wonderful if I was a ballerina since the June Show is just around the corner. Here are a couple of pictures from my photo session. The legs are Auntie Brittany, the pointe shoes are Aunt Ryann's and the pointe shoes that are in the picture with me are mommy's. The pictures are blurry because they are not that high of resolution.

Blood Work

Since I am 9 months the Dr wanted me to get some blood work done to test for anemia and led. I was such a brave girl only cried for a a moment with no tears. Daddy took me as mommy waited in the waiting room. Since I was such a brave little girl daddy told me he would get me some ice cream. YUMMY!

Memorial Day BBQ

Mommy and Daddy decided to have people over and BBQ for Memorial Day. I had lots of fun with all the other kids, Rylie, Celeste, Deavon, and Luc. It turned out to be a nice day and we all had a wonderful time. Thanks everyone for coming over (Jamie, Leo, Bobby, Jill, Andy, Rachael and of course the kiddos)

Mikaela and Rylie Just when mommy got all the young kids to look Deacon was out Once the food was eaten and the playing was done the kids slowly, one by one, started to pass out. Literally for Lucus, notice the beer in his hands. He had to fall asleep holding onto the bottle. Then Rylie and I dozed off mommy had already put me in my crib.

Lucas came to play

Lucas came over tonight to play. Aunt Rachael and Uncle Andy are in Las Vegas and Auntie Ryann is watchng Luc for the weekend. She had a private at the dance studio so mommy said she would take him for a couple of hours. We played and played and at about 6:15pm we BOTH at the same time feel asleep. Me with daddy on the couch and mommy with Luc in the glider. It was a fun night. Playing together Kisses, not bites!

Gymboree

Today mommy took me to my first Gymboree class. It was so much fun. I got to sing songs, play with other kids, play with Gymbo the clown and bubbles, and at the end we played underneath a parachute.

A Fun Day

Today mommy and me just hung out at the house. While I napped she did LOTS of cleaning around the house. Once I woke up from my afternoon nap we had lots of fun. She turned my walker in a push-walker so I can stand behind it and walk with it instead of in it. Then I ate my yogurt and bitter bisquet. You know how messy those are so mommy took me outside to play with the water hose and clean me up. After that she wanted to take some pretty pictures of me in my blue shirt so we went out front and I sat on the grass while mommy clicked away.

Dance Studio

Since it is getting close to the June Show lots of dance costumes are coming in. One of the classes mommy teaches is a workshop class, these are the 3-5 year-olds, their dance is to "These Boots Are Made For Walking." Mommy thought it would be fun for me to try on one of the costumes. She found the XS and guess what it fit me, well a little long in the fringe area, but other than that sign me up baby. This is me in my very first dance costume.

Cal State Long Beach

Today I got to go to work with mommy at Cal State Long Beach. It is finals week and she does not have to teach class but she does have to be at work so she decided to take me to work with her today. I had a great time meeting people mommy works with and checking out the campus. I even wore my CSULB onsie. Go Beach
