Daddy Got a New Toy (yes again)

Daddy has been talking about getting a remote control car from a hobby shop for a long time, this Saturday while I was at the dance studio with mommy he went and bought it. So when I woke up from my nap and mommy got home we went out in the front yard and played. Daddy and I had lots of fun driving it. My daddy is such a BIG kid. Who's smile is bigger?

Mommy crashed the car so I was checking out the scratches.
Daddy made it jump

New Gymboree Level and Day

I started my new Gymboree class this week, I now attend class on Saturday with Ms Trisha as my teacher. I am about 2 weeks shy of being 28 months but we thought moving up to Level 6 would be a good idea. Today we learned about baseball, we even got to hit the ball and run bases.

Dinner at the Table

Mommy tried a new recipe tonight, one of her goals for 2010, she hasn't posted them yet though. While she and daddy cooked in the kitchen I played in the den. When it got a little too quiet mommy came to check on my and there I was sitting on the couch reading my color book. Another goal of mommy's for 2010 is to eat at least 1 night a week at the dinner table, this week we have done it twice. :) Dinner was great and I enjoyed sitting at the dinner table eating with mommy and daddy. Mommy said, smile :)

Last Thursday Gymboree Class

Today was my last day in my Thursday Gymboree class. I have been attending Thursday class since May of 2008, now I am going to be coming to the Saturday morning class. I am going to miss the friends I have made and my teacher Ms. Claudine. I love looking at pictures at the beginning of class after the Rainbow Rope
I'm such a good listener, the theme for today was Gymbo's house. We talked about beds, bath tubs, kitchens, 2 story houses. It was great.
Making pizza in Gymbo's house.
Climbing as always
Maracas are one of my favorite parts of Gymboree, "Shake and Shake and Shake and STOP!!"
Gymbo dance:
Gymbo the clown goes up and down, up and down, up and down, Gymbo the clown goes up and down all through the town (wheels on the bus song, you go the idea)
Gymbo the clown goes side to side.... Gymbo the clown plays peek-a-boo....
Kisses at the end of class to Gymbo

Rain, Rain, Rain

Day 3 of the rain and we are hanging in there. I really wish I had some rain boots and a rain coat to go with my cow umbrella so I could play in the rain. But then again I really don't think mommy or daddy would let me play in this crazy rain. Mommy really wishes she could have gotten a picture of the raging riverbed. When we went to dinner at one of my favorite places, Bob's Big Boy, the riverbed was flowing pretty fast. But it was too dark to take a picture. I am loving the rain.
From our front porch
Mommy, daddy and I all shared a chocolate milkshake for dessert.

Monday Holiday with Mommy and Daddy

We got up this mornign and daddy took us to breakfast at Corner Bakery, a favorite of ours. We came back home, unloaded the trailers when the rain let up, did some laundry and relaxed. After getting home from dinner, mommy had pulled some dress up stuff out of my closet for me to play with. I choose the catepiller, which was originally my first halloween costume. It was a fun Monday with my family.

Pismo Beach Day 3

The rainy weather came in on Sunday morning. We had breakfast in Grandma and Grandpa's trailer and then went to the outlet stores just 1 exit up the freeway from the campground. We went to lunch again in downtown Pismo Beach at Mo's and mommy got more clam chowder from Sharks. Once we got back to the camp ground I went down for a nap and mommy and daddy talked, listen to Jack Johnson and played some games. We ended the night with a wonderful Korean BBQ prepared by one of the families we were with and then heading home at about 830 at night. I slept the whole ride home and mommy and daddy said it was a pretty easy drive home. I had such a wonderful time a Pismo Coast Village, I can't wait to go back.

My bed for the weekend was on the couch. I loved it and did great sleeping on it.
Rain, Rain, Rain
Mommy said that when it rained it was the most relaxed she had been in a long time. It was so peaceful to listen to the rain and be snuggled up in the trailer.

Pismo Beach Day 2

Today was such an adventurous day. First went we got a drive on the beach at Oceana Dunes. You heard right, we were driving on the the sand, it was so much fun. After stopping and playing a little in the sand and watching all the people on their quads and other sand vehicles we got back in the car and went to see the Monarch Butterfly Grove. There were so many butterflies I lost count. They were so beautiful in color and there were so many of them. We left the butterflies and went to downtown Pismo Beach for lunch and a walk on the pier. We ate at a delicious BBQ restaurant called Mo's. We then stopped and got taffy to take home with us. Once back to PCV I took a nap and mommy and daddy played cards outside. At around 430 this afternoon it was suppose to be low tide, so the group of us campers, known as the Gas Guzzlers walked onto the beach to check out the gorgeous view. Bodie went with us and boy did her have fun. Once back up Grandpa, Grandma, Daddy, Mommy, and me went and watched the sunset. The pictures speak for themselves. We had dinner at another BBQ place and then daddy hooked up his new movie projector outside and I watched an episode of Elmo on the trailer. It was a FABULOUS day.
