The house is ready for New Year's Eve and the Stevens family is ready to say good-bye to 2011 and HELLO 2012.
The mantle is ready with all our hats, poppers, beads, horns, and noise makers. I also made a balloon pop for Mikaela. From 9am to 8pm she pops a balloon and does an activity that is on a piece of paper in the inside. She was thrilled, well not to much of popping the balloons but all the activities she was. We went to dinner with Grammy, Pa and Auntie at Road House then came back home for Wii bowling, Sparklers, and of course the countdown to 2012. We threw confetti in the air at New Year (celebrated New York time) and Mikaela had to do it again and again and again. I can remember doing this tradition with my parents. It was a great night and we are happy to start a new year full of new adventures.
