We headed out to Ocotillo Wells for the very first time on Friday. It was beautiful when we got there but soon turned WINDY!! It was so windy we were wearing goggles at night just to stand outside and talk. The next day the wind didn't kick up till about 11am. Then we spent the rest of the afternoon in Jill and Bill's new motor home. Mikaela loved playing with Amber and Logan as well as her cousins Quest and Trenton (or Truman as she kept calling him). We were very lucky that the Easter bunny found us in the desert and Mikaela was thrilled at the stuff in her basket. Don't think we will go back if we know it will be that windy but Ocotillo was a neat place. One of the highlights was Matt and I getting to drive a Razor. We had lots of fun.
