Nap Time

Since mommy has gone back to work it has been hard to keep the blog up to date. Today mommy caught a picture of me while taking my nap. I was snuggled up with my blanket. It is really my sleep sack that I sleep in at night but I love to cuddle up next to it for nap time.

Grandparents

I realized yesterday with talking about Grammy, Grandma, Grandpa some of you might not realize I have 4 sets of them. (2 real and 2 as close to real as you can get) I thought some clarification would be good.

Once mommy started look for pictures for this post she realized that she does not have lots of pictures of me and my grandparents.

They live about 3 minutes from our house and I love going over and playing with Bam Bam and Sugar Baby their kitties. Mommy has know them since their daughter, Auntie Brittany started dancing at the dance studio 16 years ago.

Mommy has know them since she was 3 years old, they own the dance studio where mommy works. Santa Fe Springs Center for the Performing Arts. They also watched me on Monday's when mommy went back to work the first semester. It was twin Monday with me and Lucas.Wow what an old picture huh, this was my first trip to the dance studio. Only 3 weeks old.

Hope this clears up some Grandparent misunderstandings anyone might have. Maybe some day I will tell you all about ALL my Aunties and Uncles. HAHA

13 months and counting

Today is September 13th and I am 13 months old. 13 on 13!!!!! What a great number huh! I also have to say Happy Birthday to Uncle Jeremy and Walker. Walker turning 1 today and Uncle Jeremy is old! heheh

Today was a great day. I went to breakfast at Pop's with Grammy and Grandpa. I love to walk to the pet store after breakfast and look at the kitty through the window. Grammy taught me how to call for the kitty by patting the floor. Mommy and I also went and got the car washed, while daddy was water skiing with Grandpa and his friend Pat from work. There were birdies at the car wash that I was mesmerized by. They were so pretty. After my nap that afternoon I got to go see Grandma and Grandpa Stevens, mommy and daddy went to dinner and a movie at the Block of Orange. They said they had a wonderful time, but missed me. Isn't that sweet. :)

Yogurt

At lunch today mommy gave me some Yo Baby Yogurt. I love this stuff and every time I see the container I get excited. Mommy let me try eating it by myself today since I have been trying to feed myself lately. Ya, I don't think yogurt is the best food to feed myself. It can get very messy!!

Dinner at WoodRanch BBQ

We went to dinner tonight, just the 3 of us, to Wood Ranch BBQ. Mommy said that her and daddy always forget that it is in Cerritos. It was really neat there, they started by giving me a Toddler starter plate. It had Cheerios, orange slices and a mini banana. They gave me a neat kids meal menu to color on and also mommy and daddy helped me with the actives on it. There favorite was trying to match all the States to their Capitals. They got 32, not too bad. Dinner finally came and boy was it yummy. I had some tri-tip, broccoli, french fries, and sweet potatoes. After dinner we looked at the statues that were outside. One was a horse and the other was a little boy holding a saddle. I thought they were very neat.

It was a great Sunday night as a family.

Meeting New Friends

Today mommy and I (daddy is at school, he was there yesterday too) went over to Grandma and Grandpas house to visit with some friends. Before company showed up I gave grandma and grandpa a card because it is Grandparents Day. Ruth, Amanda, Tyler and Sarah then showed up for a short visit. Ruth is a family friend, Amanda is her daughter that grew up with daddy, and her 2 kids are Tyler, 2 1/2 and Sarah, 8 months. We played and talked for a couple of hours before it was nap time. It was great to meet friends that daddy grew up with. Wish he could have been there too. I thought Sarah's car seat was fun to climb in and out of.

Dinner with the Law's

Uncle Andy called us tonight to see if we wanted to go to dinner at TGI Fridays in Long Beach. Lucas and I sat next to each other and shared spaghetti and french fries. (mommy was doing mess control and was not able to snap a pic) We also at one point during dinner started having a yelling match. Thank goodness it was loud in the restaurant. After dinner we hung out and watched me walk outside. I am doing really good at walking now. I still get going a little to fast for my legs and I am very cautious. Lucas on the other hand just goes for it. Mommy was using her camera on her iPhone so not too many pictures came out because we were moving too fast.

Big Girl in the Chair

Mommy thought I looked like a big girl sitting in this chair so she snapped a picture on her phone. This was mommy's chair when she was little, it is now in my room. I also have an old school desk in my room that was daddy's. I love to climb into the chair, turn around, sit, then climb out and repeat the whole process over and over. Mommy was cleaning out and moving around some clothes so I thought it would be fun to play in the chair.

Auntie Brittany's Birthday

Happy Birthday Auntie Brittany! We celebrated with auntie by having dinner at El Torrito in Long Beach. It was kids eat free night and I even got a sombrero. We had a wonderful dinner and it was fun to see Auntie and celebrate her 19th birthday with her.

Labor Day Fun

We went over to Luc's grandparents house for a dip in the pool today. Grandma and Grandpa Law let us kids, mommy's and daddy's go swimming today. It was very nice and refreshing.

It is kind of funny because this is the first pool that I ever went in and it was exactly a year ago this Labor Day weekend. I was only 2 1/2 weeks old and I was dipping my feet in the Law's pool.
