Today is official New Year's Day to me because the Rose Parade is on TV. It always throws me off when it is on the 2nd and not the 1st. We all watched the parade and Mikaela was thrilled to see the Downey float on TV and the volcano erupting and Kelley going down the slide. We were also happy to see that the Downey Rose Float won the Founders' Trophy. YEAH!!
We spent the rest of the day at home; Mikaela and Matt were outside cutting grass and doing other fun things, Addison was playing and I was cleaning like a mad woman. New Year means time for me to clean and oragaize, fresh start I saw.
